I got a nice surprise when I went to work this morning, which was supposed to be a "Teacher Planning Day" sans children, and our boss said that because of the weather we could all go home and still get paid for our 8 hour day! Yay!
So now I am sitting here, with a mug of hot chocolate (with whipped cream on top, of course) watching the snow fall and listening to Christmas music in my jammies. sometimes I feel like I've always got to be doing something, that something must always be done, so I like to cherish these moments where I have the ability to relax and do exactly what it is that I want to do, and not worry about anyone else. I know that when I have a family and children these moments are going to be much fewer and farther between, so I feel no shame in taking advantage of them while they're here. :)
That's all I've really got to say today, so I'm going to get back to my hot chocolate. :)
